On April 16th, 2011 The Reesor Family in Canada held their Annual Meeting at Cedar Grove Community Centre.

As is customary practice, the election of officers was held. At this time a new slate of officers was established as the Reesor Family moves forward into its next ten year cycle.

The following Reesor Cousins have willingly assumed the Executive positions:

• Barry Reesor: President
• David Reesor Burkholder: Vice President
• Louise Reesor Pogue :Secretary
• Paul Reesor : Treasurer

As the out-going President of the Reunion Committee , I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all Reesor Cousins for opportunity to serve in this role. It has been an incredible honour and privilege.

Our Reesor Family heritage is rich and robust. So many have worked long and hard, with the common goal of perpetuating our Reesor History. Numerous individuals have given selflessly of their time, talents and knowledge. The Past Executive and Directors were an incredible source of strength and solid support, as we worked together to plan and prepare for the Reesor Bicentennial 2004 and Reesor Reunion 2010. I am extremely grateful to each of them for their efforts. The Reesor Family basically held three Reunions between 2000 and 2010. An awesome task but the Reunion Committee worked diligently to pull it off. These Reunions are a significant part of perpetuating our family story. We could not do it without the support of the Reesor descendents who faithfully turn out for the Reunion activities. Thank you too.

We continue to believe that our future is with the youth. The incoming Reesor Executive are a very capable team and I am confident that they will guide The Reesor Family in Canada well , through the next decade. We welcome them into this leadership capacity.

The torch is passed on!
